About Kevin Jacob Salon
We are a full-service hair salon at 040 Old Country Rd #30 in Plainview, NY. The products on this site are the same ones our stylists use on every client, every day at the chair.
Our Story
Kevin Jacob opened his first chair in Plainview in 2018 after spending a decade working with color specialists in Manhattan. He noticed one recurring problem: clients would leave the salon looking great, then lose the finish within a day because they were using the wrong products at home.
The solution was simple — put the exact products from the salon shelf directly into clients' hands. No reformulations for retail margin, no private-label upsells. The argan oil in the dropper bottle you order here is the same one Kevin reaches for before a blowout. The 1-inch iron is the one sitting on the styling station.
The online store launched in 2024 to serve clients who moved out of Plainview but still wanted the shelf. Every order ships from our supply room at the salon address.

Eight products. No filler.
We stocked the shelf the way Kevin stocked his styling station: one product per job, chosen because it works on Long Island hair in Long Island humidity. You will not find 40 SKUs here. You will find the argan oil, the bond serum, the color shampoo, the iron — and a few others that earned a permanent spot at the chair.
If a product stops making sense for our clients, it leaves the shelf. We do not carry inventory we do not use.
